The Department operates within the philosophical stance of the University which is built "On those beliefs, values and traditions that the society holds most sacred". The Department offers two (2) undergraduate degree programmes: B.Sc. Applied Biology and BSc. Zoology.In addition, we offer Postgraduate courses in both the areas of specialization of the two (2) degrees. The Department is known to have the highest student population in the Faculty of Life Sciences. This is so because it is the only Department offering two (2) degree programmes in the Faculty.
