History

The Faculty of Life Sciences was established in 2017. To date the Faculty has demonstrated capacity for greater achievement by remaining focus to its philosophy to create new frontiers for scientific training, research and development. The Deanery in collaboration with the 3 Departments has taken giant stride to reposition its programmes for improved quality and excellence. The Faculty building provides offices for all its staff and officers as well as other necessary facilities. The Faculty board room has a modern seat capacity of 91, a spacious Dean’s Office, adequately furnished. All staff offices fully furnished. There are 10 rest rooms in the building. Additionally, a 5000 liter underground water tank with 2000 liter overhead tank is provided to ensure constant water supply. The entire interior of building is tiled and the surrounding compound uniquely landscaped. The Faculty building is indeed an edifice on the old campus. The Deanery has put in place measures to ensure proper maintenance of the structures and facilities.
